Totally Gorjuss - Challenge 144 - Lacy Lacy

Hello Everyone

Saturday again - can you believe it!  Time is just flying by before you know it Christmas will be here and I am soooooo behind with my Christmas cards - again I might add!

This week's challenge over at Totally Gorjuss is Lacy Lacy - so we want to see all your creations with lace on them.  Our generous sponsor this week is Crafter's Companion and remember to check out what the fabulous DT ladies over at Totally Gorjuss have made to whet your appetite.

Here is the card I have made:

I have so so so many Lili of the Valley stamps (un-inked too!), that I just had to use one of them and there will certainly be more to follow that is for sure.

The recipe for the card is as follows:

Totally Gorjuss - Challenge 143 - Sketch

Hey Everyone

I hope you are all keeping well and are enjoying the Olympics.

I'm so sorry I am late with my Totally Gorjuss post this week; I came back from holiday on Thursday and brought back a nasty viral infection with me which completely knocked me for six.

As you know I was due to attend a Copic Certification class on Saturday, which I had been looking forward too for months, but was too ill to attend that too - so I'm feeling a little sorry for myself at the moment :o(

But on the positive side, I'm now six pounds lighter, (not a great way to lose weight though I have to say), and I have spent lots of time watching the Olympics.  I got to say it brings a tear to my eye when you see the athletes receiving their medals and they play their national anthem as they have worked so hard for it.

Right enough with my waffle.

It's the beginning of the month - wow August already - and that can only mean one thing over at Totally Gorjuss which is a sketch and here it is:

Our generous sponsor for the challenge is the wonderful Joanna Sheen and don't forget you can play around a little with the sketch by flipping it, mirror it etc.  As always the Gorjusettes have made some awesome creations so don't forget to go and have a look over at the Totally Gorjuss site.

Here is the card I have made:

The recipe for the card is:

Digi Stamp:  Saturated Canary Love Letters by Krista Smith
Papers:  My Minds Eye Love Me
Scallop Border Die:  Die-Namics Jumbo Scallop Die from Dies to Die For
Sentiment:  Papertrey Ink Fillable Frames
Heart Pearls:  The Hobby House

The image has been colours with Copics:

Hair:  E29 E27 E25 E23
Top:  R39 R29 R27 R24
Trousers:  N4 N3 N2 N1
Eyes:  B23 B21

I have outlined the image with Weathered Wood Distress Ink
All the papers have been edged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink

A final picture of the inside of the card:

Thank you all for your lovely comments - enjoy the rest of the weekend and have a great week.

Well here I am in Wales where the wind is howling and it's raining!

We arrived at our place in Wales early Monday evening after a little jaunt to Chester Zoo - where it rained - and we went out for a little jaunt yesterday into Snowdonia - where it rained - and here I am contemplating what to do today as again, it's raining!

We are coming home tomorrow as I am going to a Copic Class on Saturday in Cheshire run by Wendy Kadzidlo at Stamps & Memories, so hopefully I will have a certificate to show you - fingers crossed.

Anyways enough with the waffle I hear you say - it's time for me to draw my Blogaversary Candy Winner.  Thank you all for entering and for your lovely comments - so without further ado the winner is:

That's you Elaine Wheeler - congratulations - please e-mail me your address so I can get your goodies posted out to you.

Hope you all have a lovely week - be back soon.

Take care.
